2024 World Islamic Tourism Conference to be held in MalaysiaThe World Islamic Tourism Conference, hosted by the Islamic Tourism Center under the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), will be held on September 12 and 13, 2014 at the Sunway Resort Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is an international event celebrating its 4th anniversary this year.
The organizer, the Islamic Tourism Centre, was established in 2009 and is commissioned by the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture to develop the Islamic tourism ecosystem in Malaysia by strengthening the country's Muslim Friendly Hospitality (MFTH) framework.
As a leader in Islamic tourism development in Malaysia, the Islamic Tourism Center supports Malaysia's fast-growing Islamic tourism sector by providing research and market intelligence, capacity development programs, standards development and accreditation, networking collaboration and advisory services on MFTH-related matters.
The Islamic Tourism Center ensures Malaysia Muslim-Friendly Hospitality (MFTH) services through two key accreditation programs built on carefully designed guidelines: Muslim-Friendly Tourism and Hotels Assurance and Accreditation (MFAR) and Muslim-Friendly Tourism Guide (MFTG). In doing so, it has established itself as a key institution for Islamic tourism not only in Malaysia but also internationally.
The conference will be held on the 12th and 13th with a total of four tracks: Track 1 (morning) on the 12th: Understanding Muslim Tourists, Track 2 (afternoon): Muslim-friendly tourism and community, Track 3 (morning) on the 13th: Growth and Community Opportunity, Track 4 (PM): Inclusivity A total of 12 topic presentations are scheduled. <저작권자 ⓒ SalamKorea 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
